Santerí employs three types of divination: obi, dillogg n, and a combination of the opelé and tablero de Ifá. For each type, the priest or priestess tosses and interprets certain objects and the way that they fall " a quartered coconut for obi, 16 cowry shells for dillogg n, and a necklace with eight evenly spaced disks for opelé.
